Type the gene ID or the gene description
(e.g. Histone H4) for your gene of interest into the
search box. You will obtain the detailed information and expression pattern for
that gene. Here is the example for Your Favorite Gene (YFG):
TTHERM_00000010 or 135.m00801. When you see the results, you can click
on the ID for a co-expressed gene to see the TGED entry for that gene.
Note:
For growing cells, L-l, L-m and L-h correspond respectively to ~1´105 cells/ml, ~3.5´105 cells/ml and ~1´106 cells/ml. For
starvation, ~2´105 cells/ml were collected
at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 24 hours(referred to as
S-0, S-3, S-6, S-9, S-12, S-15 and S-24). For conjugation, equal volumes of B2086 and CU428 cells
were mixed, and samples were collected at 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18
hours after mixing (referred to as C-0, C-2, C-4,
C-6, C-8, C-10, C-12, C-14, C-16 and
C-18).
Genes with coordinate expression patterns are candidates for participating in
the same biological process. Groups of genes coexpressed with each of several
genes with different experimentally determined function were identified based on
Pearson correlation coefficients (R), derived by comparing their patterns of
expression using all data from growing, starved and conjugating cells.
Correlation coefficients with a value of more than 0.8 were considered
indicative of co-expression.
